Setting Up Your Email Account On Your Computer
You may wish to use a program such as Outlook, Outlook Express or Eudora to download your emails from the server to your computer, so that you can read them at your leisure — and take advantage of the email features available in the software.
Since each program is different, I am just going to link to some tutorials for each one:
Setting up your email account in:
- Outlook
- Outlook Express
- Eudora Windows
- Eudora MacIntosh
- Thunderbird — scroll past the installation info…
When you setup your accounts in whichever email client you use make sure you use the full email address as your username. For example, don’t just use yourusername. Use yourusername@yourdomainname.com.
You will also probably need to use the SMTP server settings from your ISP in order to send email. If you are having trouble finding this information, let me know what your ISP is and I will look it up for you.
